A handful of photos leaked out on Monday showing what appears to be the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage roadster. They look legit to us, but, upon very close inspection, some of the details don't appear to be quite right. But, we're not Photoshop experts and the irregularities could be the result of standard press photo retouching.

Starting Feb. 28 and running through the end of September, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles celebrates all that is good about bad car ideas in an exhibit titled "What Were They Thinking?" Earlier this year, we brought you news of an open-sourced design competition from American kit car manufacturer, Factory Five. The brief called for a compact, two-seat roadster that shared a drivetrain with the Subaru Impreza. The car would feature a bespoke space-frame chassis, but the mechanicals would be lifted from the Impreza to allow the car to sell for under $15,000.
